Responsibilities You will repair and maintain a variety of large commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems and supporting equipment with complex problems and extensive repairs requiring judgement to locate malfunctions. You will troubleshoot a variety of large commercial and industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems and supporting equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance on heating boilers and/or boilers and/or boil systems and auxiliary equipment. You will mount, connect, and adjust components , such as transformers, motors, electrodes, relays, solenoids, switches, pneumatic and electrical thermostats, rheostats, aqua stats. steam glam seals, bearings, and drive gears. You will plan lay out and install a variety of large complex commercial and industrial systems and supporting equipment. You will install., repair, and modify large/complex systems that provide for a variety of air conditioning functions such as heating, cooling, humidifying, dehumidify, cleaning, filtering, and circulating. You will install, maintain, repair, and modify large/complex heating and power boilers and support equipment including mechanical system controls and distribution lines. The Screen-out Element for this position is: Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision: Repairing, installing, and maintaining various types of air conditioning systems, including troubleshooting and diagnosing issues; utilizing blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to properly maintain HVAC systems; performing preventive maintenance on heating boilers and/or boiler systems and auxiliary equipment; and applying expertise in HVAC regulations and protocols to uphold workplace safety standards.
