Maxar is looking for an RF Project Engineer at our Ypsilanti, MI (Ann Arbor) location. This position can be fill at Fort Liberty or Warner Robins AFB as well.

To be qualified you must be a US Citizen and the ability to receive and maintain an activeTS/SCI Clearance.

Responsibilities:

Provide engineering support to a small multi-disciplinary engineering team charged with researching and creating innovative data processing solutions to solve real-world customer problems.

Interact with customers and users developing technical and business rapport

Work with software development team leads to support transition from research grade code to operational code.

Test, evaluate, and document the performance of HW developed in-house and by third parties.

Generate program reports and briefings

Participate in business development for Software Defined Radio efforts through whitepapers and technical presentations.

Provide technical direction and leadership to solve problems for tactical data delivery communication links.

Minimum Qualifications:

US citizenship with the ability to obtain & maintain a TS/SCI clearance.

Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Must have strong analytical skills.

Experience coding algorithms in MATLAB or C++.

Experience with system testing and simulation.

Experience with embedded communication systems and communication protocols.

Ability to succeed in a self-paced fluid environment.

Excellent speaking and writing skills.

Ability to guide engineers in executing programs.

Desired:

Active/Current TS/SCI clearance.

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.

10 years experience.

Project management/technical leadership experience a plus.

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$88,000.00 - $146,000.00 annually.
