POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a talented and passionate individual to join our team as a Campus Cook at our local college campus. As a Campus Cook, you will play a crucial role in providing delicious and nutritious meals to students, faculty, and staff, contributing to the overall dining experience on campus.

VARIOUS SCHEDULES AVAILABLE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Menu Preparation: Plan and execute diverse and appealing menus that cater to the preferences and dietary needs of the college community.
2. Food Production: Prepare high-quality, well-presented meals in a timely manner, ensuring consistency and adherence to established recipes and portion sizes.
3. Collaboration: Work closely with the kitchen team, including chefs, sous chefs, and other cooks, to maintain a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
4. Quality Control: Monitor food quality and taste to uphold the highest standards, addressing any concerns promptly.
5. Food Safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized kitchen environment.
6. Customer Service: Interact positively with students, faculty, and staff, addressing special dietary requests and providing excellent customer service.

7. Adaptability: Flexibility to handle varying menu demands, special events, and catering services as required.

    

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience as a Cook or similar role, preferably in a high-volume dining setting.

Knowledge of diverse cooking techniques and cuisines.

Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.

Strong organizational and time-management skills.
