Duties : Define and implement architecture and design principles of mobile application software. Address application dependencies with various services and provide guidance to Dev teams. Conduct design and code reviews to maintain the coding standards and application quality. Provide production and release management support through assisting with bug fixes and testing. Support deployment pipeline automation, and application resiliency and performance improvements. Manage the development and deployment processes, and ensure features are shipped optimally, and product stays healthy once it hits production. Design, review, write, and test code. Support design and development of new features, writing, reviewing, and testing code. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

Salary: $164,758 to $246,800 per year

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field and 5 years of progressive post-Bachelor’s related experience.

Experience must include the following: Design and develop mobile applications using Java, Kotlin, MVVM, and MVI Architecture; Design and Integrate Restful API to Android Mobile applications with JSON, GSON, and Moshi Libraries; Unit-test code for Junit5, Expresso, and Cucumber Framework; Develop and refine CI/CD pipeline to generate builds for Android mobile application frameworks, Jenkins,Bitrise, and Github; and Design and integrate Google Wallet API for Android mobile applications.
