Your Role

We are looking for an Operational Care Team Leader to join our sea logistics team in Vantaa, Finland. The position is permanent and starts according to agreement as soon as possible

Your Responsibilities

• You are responsible for the daily leadership of the team and you ensure that your team has the best possible conditions to handle transport assignments within the given deadlines, work efficiently and to achieve the KPI´s;

• You monitor and analyze the operational performance and expenses of subcontractors/carriers and promptly respond to any deviations. As a part of your daily work you actively participate in operational tasks, including coordinating and managing transport orders, drafting documents, handling inquiries and other transportation-related tasks;

• You communicate daily with various stakeholders, such as subcontractors, partners, and Kuehne+Nagel global network;

• You also collaborate closely with other supervisors and teams in the sea logistics department.

Your Skills and Experiences

• To succeed in this role you have 3 - 5 years working experience within freight forwarding and you have also gained relevant experience within sea logistics;

• You have strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact at various levels of the organization;

• You demonstrate ability to lead, develop, and inspire a mature team of professionals;

• You can work fluently both in Finnish and English.
