CAE USA INC Junior Simulator Technician in Stockholm, Sweden

About This Role

Due to the unrivalled range of simulators at our training centre, your role will be incredibly varied, giving you the opportunity to work on a wide range of the most modern simulators, systems, and equipment to enhance your technical knowledge.

The person we are looking for is perhaps a recent graduate or wants to change to another exciting direction in working life!

You will work to maintain, prevent, correct any errors in our simulators and training equipment and ensure that they are "Ready for training" for our customers.

As a simulator technician, you are also responsible for maintaining regulatory approval on the simulators. This means running regular tests on the simulators, reviewing the results and assisting the authorities with inspections.

We will provide you with a development plan and a broad specialist training that covers most of our business area. The person we are looking for has a broad interest in aviation and technology, and wants to grow into his future role.

The team at CAE Center Stockholm-Arlanda currently maintains eight flight simulators and other training equipment around the clock with mainly customers from civil aviation.

Our equipment spans a wide spectrum where you will have the opportunity to develop both technically and administratively.

Qualification requirements:

Qualifications, skills and educational requirements

• Engineering degree or equivalent background in aviation/electronics/software

• Good computer skills

• The work involves shift work, we are open around the clock, all year round

• Write and speak English, as well as a Scandinavian language

• Applicants must be able to live and work in Sweden

Meritorious

• Practical handling

• Troubleshooting/problem solving skills

• Understand logic/circuit diagram etc.

• Experience with hydraulics

• Experience with measuring equipment (multimeter, etc.)

• Self-motivated

• Experience of contacts with authorities, customers and suppliers

• Like to work in teams
