In Consumer Sales Organization (CSO) we are a global team at Microsoft responsible for sales across Devices & Creativity (Windows, Microsoft 365, and Surface) and Gaming. The Devices & Creativity Sales Partner Account Manager for the GCR markets is responsible for the sales through retailers, distributors and mobile operators of all Devices & Creativity products – M365, Windows Consumer, Surface, and Accessories. This sales role works with channel partners to provide sales leadership by transforming the partners' business models and providing operational support expertise to drive Microsoft's strategy and enable the partner to grow their business.

Responsibilities

The New E-commerce and Social Media Platform Development role plays a pivotal position in driving the growth and development of Microsoft's presence on emerging e-commerce and social media platforms. This position requires strategic thinking, strong partner engagement skills, and collaboration across internal teams to optimize product visibility, drive sales, and enhance the overall online customer experience.

Partner Engagement (30 %)

  • Proactively develop social commerce partners from scratch to maximize business impact for Microsoft.

  • Understand partners' strategies for business development and align Microsoft's development plans accordingly.

  • Support partners in developing winning strategies for the Windows eco-system and Microsoft product sales, ensuring alignment with Microsoft's overall strategy.

  • Drive growth initiatives and align transformation efforts with partner objectives.

  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with partners to drive mutual growth and strategic alignment.

Channel and Account Management (20%)

  • Develop and execute joint partner account plans to achieve sales targets and align with Microsoft's goals.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders on plan execution and SKU assortment portfolio.

  • Negotiate and execute programs and promotions with partners, ensuring compliance with guidelines.

  • Facilitate partner relationships with distribution management teams to ensure order book quality and forecasting accuracy.

  • Track performance metrics and provide insights to ensure revenue targets are met.

Impact (30%)

  • Deliver success by landing revenue targets,

  • Utilize data analytics tools to analyze online sales performance and optimize product assortment, pricing, and promotional activities.

  • Orchestrate internal stakeholders to manage funnel management, customer journey, and user experience.

  • Develop action plans to improve partner satisfaction scores based on feedback.

  • Deepen understanding of the e-commerce and social commerce channels, including partner capabilities and market trends.

  • Advocate for partners internally, using insights from engagements and business reviews to address key blockers and maximize growth opportunities.

Collaboration (20%)

  • Collaborate with digital marketing teams to develop and execute traffic plans, online marketing campaigns, and paid media optimization strategies.

  • Manage product listings, pricing, and inventory levels on e-commerce platforms in coordination with internal marketing teams.

  • Work with partners and internal teams on digital merchandising strategies to enhance online visibility and conversion rates.

  • Lead cross-team collaboration to support partners, sharing business plans and driving actions internally.

Collaborate effectively with other Microsoft field teams to maximize partner business opportunities.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years of partner management, sales, business development, or related experience in the technology industry.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field

  • OR a Master degree with 4+ years of relevant experience.

  • 2+ years’ experience with planning, budgeting, and project management activities.

  • 5+ years of local e-commerce or internet company working experience, with familiarity with e-commerce channels.

  • Good Understanding of consumer channels and retail landscape.

  • Track record of sales delivery and execution.

  • Partner account management with proven business operational excellence and sales results.

  • Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English communication in a multinational organization.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

Work experience in Consumer Electronics/IT ecosystem experience with a focus on devices and services sales across consumer segments.
