As the Head of Land Acquisition for Manatee County, you will be the senior leader of a team of Land department employees, maintain developer relationships, and actively negotiate large land deals.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and direct a team of Land Managers and Supervisors capable of meeting NVR's unit sales and profit objectives for the Manatee County area

  • Cultivate new developer relationships and maintain existing relationships

  • Review contracts from direct reports with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance

  • Actively negotiate and structure large and complex deals in the core market area

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of demonstrated land acquisition leadership experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Effective team manager

  • Skilled in land deal structuring

  • Finance and Accounting background preferred

  • Excel proficiency

  • At least 5 years of land entitlement experience
