Position Description:

CGI has an immediate need for a Tibco Spotfire Technical Analyst to join our life sciences practice area. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced team environment supporting one of the largest leaders in the pharmaceutical industry. We take an innovative approach to supporting our client, working side-by-side in an agile environment using emerging technologies.

As an Sr Technical Analyst / Programmer, you will act as a key participant in application analysis, development, execution, defect tracking, and reporting. The candidate must have demonstrated experience in Tibco / Spotfire schemes, visualizations, an understanding of best practices, SDLC Scrum and Agile methodologies, as well as strong problem-solving abilities and leadership skills.

This position is located in our Plymouth Meeting, PA office with work performed at client site in West Point, PA; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• "Hands-on" technical skills are paramount. Technical analysis and development experience essential working on multiple databases and source

• Create advance segmentation and report breakdown Advanced skills on using Filter schemes and Dynamic control properties in Spotfire (SDK and Scripting)

• Proficient in writing complex custom expression for calculated columns

• Excellent written and oral communication skills Experience in all phases of SDLC & Agile Methodology.

• Technical hands-on experience working on multiple data sources like Oracle, Teradata and another RDBMS

• Proficient in writing complex SQL queries by connecting to various data sources and develop visualizations using Tibco Spotfire

• Should have a strong data analytical skill to derive meaningful reports by understanding data warehouse technologies and concepts.

• Work alongside business team to develop dashboards and customer analytic reports using Tibco Spotfire Visualizations

• Experience in requirements gathering with the business to understand and document them in detail.

• Experience in creating custom reports and able to massage data to make it accessible to Spotfire

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

• Exposure and familiarity to SDLC, Agile and Waterfall models

• Strong skills in SQL, Oracle

• Familiarity with process automation tools would be a plus

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Self-starter/Self-directed with the ability to work independently and have critical creative

thinking essential

• Pharmaceutical / Healthcare experience a plus

• Bachelor's degree.

• 6+ years IT experience

• Hands on programming knowledge and experience in Tibco Spotfire (SDK and Scripting

Development)

• Ability to learn new tools quickly and design integrated solutions

• Knowledge of REST APIs is a plus

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $67,800.00-$180,200.00.
