Our Guidance, Navigation, and Control Systems organization is seeking an Orbit Dynamics Aerospace Engineer in Palo Alto, CA, who can apply their knowledge and experience in the analysis of satellite orbit raising and on-orbit missions for cutting edge low Earth orbit solutions, complex geosynchronous communications satellites, and beyond Earth science missions.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and resolve satellite mission analysis problems including:

  • Propellant budgets

  • Tracking station coverage

  • Orbit optimization

  • Maneuver planning utilizing chemical and electric propulsion systems

  • Launch window analysis

  • Stationkeeping analysis

  • Major sequence of events timing

  • Prepare detailed technical reports on work performed.

  • Perform real-time orbit determination and maneuver analysis for satellite orbit raising operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Aero/Astro Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, or related field

  • 5 years of relevant experience.
