Maxar is seeking a BOM Analyst to join our team in Palo Alto, CA.
Establish and maintain working database for the purposes of organization, management, and control of contractual information and requirements for subcontracted flight hardware.
Interface with various internal organizations (Payload Engineering, Systems Engineering, PMO, Advanced Systems, Materiel, etc…), to promote interdepartmental communication and improved management of information.
Support flight hardware specification development activities and ensure documents are in full compliance with applicable program contractual requirements.
Assist in the upkeep of department procedures, work instructions, and training records.
Assist with the maintenance of web based flight hardware equipment catalog and department homepage.
Generate, update, and present weekly progress metrics for flight hardware and documentation deliverables.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or other related technical field.
4 years of database management experience in a technical environment
Good practical experience working with document editing software, Adobe Acrobat Pro, and MS Office software (Word, Excel, Visio)
Be familiar with international standards.
Experience of the full design lifecycle, concept to disposal.
Knowledge on Configuration Management processes, techniques and tools.
Experience in a leadership role, as well as being a team player, with strong communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
Good written and verbal communication skills to allow effective communication with both technical and non-technical teams
Knowledge of PLM (TeamCenter) would be an advantage
