Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst II in the legal industry, based in New York, New York. The successful candidate will collaborate with various technology vendors to resolve technical issues, oversee all IT security policies, and develop knowledge of the firm's technology environment. This role also involves managing installation and changes to office layouts for various hardware and software, and developing expertise in various firm applications and remote access environments.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with various technology vendors to resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, phones, video-conference equipment, printers, network systems, and/or related hardware problems

• Overseeing all IT security policies and functions, enforcing firm policies, monitoring information security, and performing regular audits

• Developing a comprehensive understanding of the Firm’s total technology environment and maintaining quality management of all processes and practices

• Managing the installation and changes to office layouts for PCs, software, printers, phones, and network components

• Developing an expert level of knowledge in firm applications, including but not limited to, electronic messaging, document management, financial systems, and practice support applications such as Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Caret Legal and One Place Solutions

• Gaining expertise in the firm’s remote access and mobile computing environment

• Utilizing skills in Microsoft Windows and Cisco VPN for various job functions Requirements • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a help desk or technical support role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Cisco VPN is essential.

• Familiarity with other operating systems and networking tools will be advantageous.

• Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex IT concepts in simple terms.

• Must be able to work in a team and collaborate effectively with other IT professionals.

• Willingness to stay updated with the latest technological developments.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

• High level of patience and ability to work well under pressure.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.

• Must be willing to work in shifts and provide after-hours support when necessary.

• Knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices in cybersecurity is desired.

• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals, or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) would be an asset. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
