Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director, Implementation serves as primary representation for AdvantageTrust in Health Systems and large strategic independent accounts; managing the team that is customer facing and serving as crucial differentiator in shift of non-acute market. Is customer facing and serves as subject matter expert to both the Sales and Account Management through the recruitment process and aligns the new member pipeline to ensure resources are available for a successful implementation. Demonstrates support of company’s solution-based culture and teamwork. Promotes implementation and account health approaches that communicate and protect the value of the committed model and HealthTrust leveraged contracting model.

Provides communication and talking points to ensure message management, consistency, and most importantly to develop the reason and understanding of all colleagues. Ensures mentorship and development of “implementation” related skill sets and contract knowledge across the company with particular focus on teamwork. Internal oversight and coordination to create and leverage virtual teams and resources as needed by working with departments - Account Management, Sales, Managed Services, Channel/Communications, Analytics, and Product Management. As the manager of an Implementation Team responsible for supervision, support, performance management, and career development.

What you will do in this role:

  • Coordinates, promotes, and cultivates collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders as relevant across the HealthTrust organization in effort to streamline cross-compartmental actions and facilitate program knowledge and best-practices

  • Improves utilization, compliance, and member retention by coordinating segment/formulary driven annual education and service programming that scales member services and reduces account management burden

  • For health system owned-leased and managed as well as strategic independent accounts, the Director of implementation participates in customer facing events including acting as a critical differentiator in both the sales and at-risk member retention processes

  • Oversight of new facility onboarding in regard to IDN support of non-acute facilities

  • Monitors and compiles strategic reports for the purpose of onboarding the member, documenting savings, reporting savings, and enhancing compliance

  • Responsible for project management of member marketing with regard to address implementation and account health initiatives

  • Responsible for achievement of implementation program service standards and metrics at the lowest possible cost by working with Account Management, workflow, process change, and technology utilization

  • Prioritizes data intelligence to achieve objectives as the lowest cost source of intelligence. Protects, utilizes, and builds the value of company data assets

  • Participates in joint company-strategic implementation planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones standards for non-acute

  • Coordinates the involvement of internal team to drive a strategic vision for implementation and portfolio standards

  • Oversees the execution of the Implementation Project Plan, securing Project Management support and assigning specific team members

  • Develops team structure and builds talent to support current and future operational needs

  • Keeps the organization’s vision and values at the forefront of decision-making and action.

  • Practices and adheres to the “Code of Conduct” philosophy and “Mission and Value Statement.”

  • Responsible for recognizing, escalating, and articulating contract issues for non-acute market with respect to vendor and/or contract categories.

  • Manages supplier communication at the contract level to drive the successful translation of the HealthTrust contract portfolio to independent non-acute provider organizations

  • Provide support to AdvantageTrust teams to increase the utilization of contracts by addressing non-acute translation and areas of focus

  • Increase speed at which medical/surgical/pharmaceutical supply conversions are possible, demonstrating competency and savings through mentorship of implementation and account management teams.

  • Provides sourcing expertise in all areas of portfolio to contribute to the facility or IDN’s overall strategic plan

  • Leads AdvantageTrust team training and understanding of new contracts, changes to the portfolio, and best approach for the non-acute market

What qualifications you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree, required

  • 9+ years of experience in GPO Supply Chain facing role, required

  • 5+ years of experience in market segment experience or successful record of accomplishment as implementation or strategic account management, required

  • 7+ years of experience in customer service, relationship building, and management, required
