CAE USA INC PCB Assembler in Montreal (St. Laurent), Canada

Role and Responsibilities

The candidates must assemble and solder printed circuits, install, secure, align and adjust components, operate automatic and semi-automatic machinery, clean, seal and label components according to the conditions, criteria and details required for the position.

The role that we are proposing:

  • Read and interpret drawings, schematics and diagrams of electromechanical and printed circuit assembly.

  • Have a good knowledge of electronic components in order to identify the values and polarity of the components during the assembly.

  • Have a good knowledge of conformal coating application methods, baking and air-drying times and temperatures and the room’s relative humidity.

  • Use manual and pneumatic tools adequately.

  • Adjust the speed of the wave machinery and operate automatic and semi-automatic machinery.

  • Perform repairs and modifications on circuit boards.

  • Possess a good dexterity for the assembly and soldering of electronic components and a good sight to execute delicate tasks.

    The candidate we are looking for has:

  • A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years of experience in printed circuit board assembly is essential and a minimum experience on surface mount assembly is an asset.

  • Professional Study Diploma in Cable and Circuit Assembly. Any other equivalent combination of the required qualifications will be considered.

  • Familiarity with precision standards (IPC 610D) .

  • Familiarity with occupational health and safety standards, especially WHMIS.

  • Functional knowledge of French is required.
