Description We are looking for a detail-oriented, diligent, and organized Patient Biller II who will work to ensure that patients are billed correctly. Your responsibility would be to review and validate patient details and corresponding treatments and procedures and bill the patients or their health insurance providers accordingly. Responsibilities: Verify accuracy of medical insurance data and revise any errors. Submit insurance claims for medical insurance payers Follow up on denied and rejected claims. Answer patient queries regarding billing, process adjustments or corrections in the patient's account. Prepare itemized eobs and record amounts due for items bought or services rendered. Communicate with insurance companies regarding coverage, payment retrieval, and solving any disputes. Requirements Proven experience as a medical billing clerk or similar role Knowledge of relevant laws and best practices in medical billing and insurance is a must. Familiarity with automated billing software systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Good understanding of Microsoft Office and data entry. Excellent communication skills (oral and written) and attention to detail. Organized and strong ability to multi-task. Knowledge of relevant accounting principles.
