Job Description

Maintain and administer network firewalls to ensure network security.

Assist in the development and implementation of firewall rules and policies.

Collaborate in troubleshooting network security issues and firewall-related problems.

Monitor network traffic and logs to identify potential security threats.

Provide technical support for firewall configuration and management.

Adhere to and enforce Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and security procedures.

Regularly update security documentation and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Educate others on security best practices and awareness.

Participates in other security operations duties as requested, including an on-call schedule for emergency response and support.

Skills and Requirements

Strong experience in Network Security - mid-senior level

4+ years experience with firewall management - expert level

Expert knowledge of network security tools like IDS/IPS and firewalls

Palo Alto Checkpoint experience

Experience migrating servers to Azure

Basic understanding of UNIX/LINUX systems.

Illumio experience strongly preferred - can get them up to speed

Strong written and verbal communication Illumio null
