Greene Tweed Systems Control Engineer in Kulpsville, Pennsylvania

  • Responsible for the design, installation, commissioning and testing of process instrumentation & control systems, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems

  • Provide instrumentation & control design support

  • Incorporate company-wide controls standards for manufacturing systems

  • Assist implementation of the Manufacturing Execution Systems with Corporate IT

  • Design, configuration, programming, and integration of complex robotic automation control systems

  • Develop and issue bid specifications for RFP’s and RFQ’s for the Design through Commission of new or rebuilt process equipment and control systems.

  • Provide technical support for: troubleshooting equipment problems, tooling and fixture design, and mechanical processes.

  • Develop and maintain clear and accurate documentation of systems controls

Required Minimum Qualifications

Education/Certifications: BS Engineering discipline required; Preference given to candidates with Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Science or Robotics Engineering concentration

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years previous PLC and SCADA/HMI programming experience strongly preferred.

  • Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and draft control system and electrical wiring schematics

  • Proficiency with multiple manufacturer’s automation hardware and software. Including:

  • Allen Bradley hardware and software

  • Understanding of equipment mechanics and equipment design

  • Hands on troubleshooting skills

  • Experience with Hard-wired and Wireless Networking

  • Electrical engineering codes and standards
