Position Overview:

KODA Technologies is seeking aSoftware Systems Engineerwith expertise in Radio Frequency systems across many different platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review software development roadmaps/strategies for RF Systems
• Oversight of Test and evaluation engineering of RF systems
• Oversee and define requirements for software development activities associated with RFsignal collection and analysis
• Evaluate Software Defined Radio systems
• Countermeasures and vulnerability analysis for?Radio Frequency systems
• Experience integrating and troubleshooting complex hardware/software intensive systems
• Experience modeling and using modeling tools
• Experience developing technical reports and presentations; must have the ability to work independently and effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree
• 5-10 years experience
• Programming familiarity
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Clearance.
• US Citizenship required

Desired Experience and Skills:

• FPGAs
• Systems of Chip (SoC)
• Familiarity with VITA 49.2 or Modular Open Radio Frequency Architecture (MORA)
• Experience with design and/or testing of Radio Frequency devices and communication systems
• Experience developing systems for military applications (e.g. avionics, GPS, Communications)
• Familiarity with communication protocols used in military? Radio Frequency ?communication systems
• Experience with developing countermeasures against? Radio Frequency ?communications systems (jamming, spoofing, replay attacks, etc.)
• Familiarity working with test and measurement equipment such as spectrum analyzers and logic analyzers
• Familiarity with security features associated with?Radio Frequency ?communication systems
• Experience with airworthiness qualification of hardware and software avionics components

Onsite/Remote:

• Minimum of 2 days a week on-site, with telework potential on other days

Travel:10%

• Active Secret Clearance: Top Secret Preferred
