Job Title:Entry LevelSoftware Engineer FLSA:Exempt Clearance:Required Location:Huntsville, AL Job Type:Full time

NTA, Inc. is seeking an Entry Level Software (SW) Engineer to design, test, develop and maintain software applications for military system development projects. Duties will include hardware integration, graphical user interface design, software development, and testing of navigation related hardware. Development efforts will include stand-alone hardware evaluation applications and hardware integration into new products. Additionally, support maintenance and enhancement tasks of existing software product line and stand-alone applications.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • Experience (academic or professional) in C+ programming language

Required:

  • Engineering experiencedeveloping and implementing software to hardware interfaces in both stand-alone and product level environments
  • Strong proficiency with software development using C and C++
  • Experience with implementation of hardware interfaces
  • A high level of computer skills is required, along with organizational, managerial, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Applicant should be detail oriented with good analytical skills, a team player, and able to handle multiple deadlines and priorities

Desired:

  • Experience in Qt development
  • 2 or more years of professional engineering experience

Applicant must have a current security clearance or be able to obtain a security clearance through a government security investigation. U.S. Citizenship is required.
