  • Position Summary*

We are looking for talented, driven individuals to lead, train, and help develop the next generation of aircraft maintenance professionals. Reporting to the Manager, Technical Operations Training, this position will: deliver General Familiarization (Gen-Fam) training on the A321 / A330 / B717 / B787 fleets, Policies and Procedures (P&P) training, and Engine Run-Up & Taxi training. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in one of these aircraft fleets or equivalent as well as experience working in a Line / Base maintenance environment.

  • Key Responsibilities*

  • Instruct and facilitate various Maintenance training courses (e.g. basic aeronautics, fleet maintenance, HA policies and procedures)

  • Adhere to regulatory requirements and course syllabi

  • Develop and update training programs/lesson materials

  • Demonstrate instructional methods that address individual student learning needs

  • Conduct self study and research in courses taught and adequately prepare for scheduled classes

  • Collaborate with other company trainers on standardized information (ramp operations, etc.) and facilitate practical exercises in a maintenance lab environment

  • Coordinate and prepare classroom with audio-visual aids to include virtual delivery (e.g. presenting online for remote learners) and support positive classroom and learning environment

  • Train the trainer and evaluate designated instructor performance

  • ** Other duties as assigned by Manager, Tech Ops Training

  • Minimum Requirements*

  • High School diploma or equivalent education

  • Airframe and Powerplant license or military equivalent experience

  • 2 years of practical experience on both Airframe & Powerplant

  • 3 years of experience with presenting technical information

  • Computer proficiency and experience in MS Office Suite with the ability to construct engaging and comprehensive PowerPoint presentations

  • ** Ability to accurately comprehend and interpret Maintenance Documents, Maintenance Task Cards, Applicable Maintenance Procedures Manuals, Federal Aviation Regulations, Minimum Equipment Lists, etc.

/ Please note that the provided salary information serves as a general guideline. Our salary is determined by a candidate's experience and qualifications as well as market and business considerations. The expected pay range is $70,000 - $92,000./

  • Preferred Qualifications*

  • Associates Degree or higher education

  • Experience in a commercial aviation maintenance environment

  • Experience teaching students in a formal classroom setting

  • Experience teaching students in an operational environment with real-time event or scenario-based event requirements and settings
