JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Uses computational methods and tools in a specialized field (strength of metallic and composite structures, finite element analysis, fatigue and damage tolerance, etc.).

• Performs pre-dimensioning computations by implementing analytical or digital computation methods and pass judgement on the credibility of the data received and the results obtained.

• Take part in drawing up the measurement plan applicable to the tests, and analyze the results.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors Degree with 9-15 years of relevant experience OR

• Masters Degree with 7-13 years of relevant experience

• Experience with structural mechanics simulation software including NASTRAN, PATRAN.

• Must be familiar with using UNIX computer systems.

• Familiarity and experience with other related tools such as CATIA V5 or Siemens NX desired.

• Must have knowledge and experience applying skills, tools, and judgment to the field of aircraft primary structure design.

• Experience analyzing aircraft subsystems and subsystem installations highly desired.

• Must be capable of interpreting detail, assembly, and installation type drawings.

• Familiarity with Slim, Vision, and IDAT preferred

• Active Secret with an investigation within 5 years or CE enrolment.
