Professional, Engineering – UAS Project engineering - Research and Technology

In your role, you will

• Collaborate in the development of an assigned strategic technology project involving Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)

• Support planning of design activities from concept to entry into service of clean sheet aircraft

• Support problem-solving for all program and engineering disciplines

• Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams

• Liaise with partners, collaborators and suppliers

• Provide governance and management updates

• Develop Engineering Statement of Works, schedules and engineering estimates

• Lead Engineering discussion, meetings and reviews across internal teams as well as partners and suppliers

• Lead closure of phases for engineering and tracking of deliverables

• Manage engineering headcounts for large project

As our ideal candidate

• You have a bachelor’s degree engineering.

• You have 5-8 years of experience in aerospace industry

• Project engineering experience is an asset

• You are autonomous, result-driven and enthusiastic with strong work ethics.

• You have good analytical and problem-solving skills.

• You can manage multiple projects and tasks

• You have strong communication skills and can easily tailor your communication to suit the audience. You strive for harmonious cohesive teamwork.

• You have knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel, PowerPoint or Sharepoint.

• Knowledge of Siemens Suite (ex. Teamcenter) is an asset
