Caterpillar’s Building Construction Products (BCP) division is hiring an Aftermarket Lifecyle Manager .

BCP’s Services Growth team has an overall objective to deliver the divisional OIA targets for Services Revenue and OPACC and enact the Grow, Improve, Embed strategy. Working for the Director for Attachments and Aftermarket, this role leads a team focused on providing central resources to BCP product groups to deliver aftermarket growth and lead BCP’s strategy in key areas.

This role’s team is responsible for:

  • Growing parts profitability

  • Improving parts availability

  • Embedding aftermarket in our engineering, supply chain, machine new product introductions and divisional communications

  • Aftermarket and machine population data analytics and insights

  • Ownership of BCP product service and opportunity data

  • Leading delivery for BCP customer value agreements and prioritize service event goals

  • Advising on product group relevant strategies for services (e.g. connectivity)

Role Summary: Overall, this role maximizes services growth through creating, implementing, and managing strategic business development initiatives within the BCP Division. This role requires strong network building and influencing skills to lead engagement with enterprise partners such as; PSLD, AMO’s, IPSD, CISD, Cat Digital & Parts Pricing teams.

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and manage key initiatives to ensure departmental goals are met.

  • Direct staff and functions for developing new markets, new channels and new lines of business; taking effective measures to control operation cost.

  • Monitor market share, revenue, cost and inventory.

  • Monitor and communicate factors which will positively impact profitability.

  • Direct aftermarket within new product introduction strategy and deliverables.

  • Build a team with strong EI results.

  • Build relationships with enterprise partners leveraging them for BCP growth.

  • Relationship Management: Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Top Candidates Will Also Have (Desired Experience)

  • Extensive project / program management experience

  • Aftermarket product or lifecycle experience

  • New product introduction (NPI) experience

  • Data analysis, interpretation and storytelling experience

  • Prior experience leading teams

Contract: Permanent

Salary: £80,000-£95,000 depending on experience
