Description We are looking for a Network Administrator in Crystal Lake, Illinois, to join our team. The Network Administrator will be responsible for creating a network hierarchy and establishing processes within the organization. This role will also assist the IT director with imminent projects and provide relief to existing bottlenecks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the administration of servers

• Establish and maintain policies within firewalls and execute firmware updates

• Assist in the upgrading of the system across the city and the integration of surveillance systems

• Conduct migration to O365 and VOIP migration

• Utilize Cisco Technologies, EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, Microsoft, Active Directory, and Backup Technologies for day-to-day operations

• Apply knowledge of Configuration Management, Design, Aruba, and Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) in assigned tasks

• Leverage familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls and Hyper-V in network administration

• Manage Cisco switch shop and newly installed wireless access systems. Requirements • Must have at least 3 years of experience as a Network Administrator or a similar role

• Proficient in Cisco Routers and Cisco Technologies

• Extensive knowledge of EO/IR systems and Firewall Technologies

• Familiarity with Microsoft technologies and Active Directory

• Experience with Backup Technologies and Computer Hardware

• Understanding of Configuration Management and Design principles

• Ability to work with Aruba technologies

• Expertise in Active Directory Federation Services (AD FS) and Fortinet Firewalls

• Proficiency in Hyper-V and other similar technologies

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a team

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred

• Relevant certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) will be an advantage. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
