BASF Maintenance Systems Administrator in Cincinnati, Ohio

Where the chemistry happens…

Our team is searching for a Maintenance Systems Administrator to work at our Cincinnati, OH facility located at 4900 Este Avenue for the Care Chemicals and Performance Chemical groups. As a Maintenance Systems Administrator you must make recommendations that are recognized as authoritative and that have a value-added impact on operational results.

During your time as a Maintenance Systems Administrator, you will

  • Process contractor invoices for Accounts Payable.

  • Create purchase orders for goods and services.

  • Lead multiple projects to digitize and/or automate Maintenance processes that are currently manual/paper systems, such as equipment inspections, documentation of repairs and calibrations, storeroom inventory management, and timesheet/invoice processing.

  • Push continuous improvement by working with the mechanics and operators to find new opportunities for digitalization.

  • Perform a weekly inventory inspection of various packaged chemicals and supplies, and assist the Storeroom operator with weekly inventory cycle counts.

  • Coordinate with outside trash and recycling companies for collection of dumpsters, used containers, and pallets.

  • Inspect and tag received materials by reviewing the purchase order/packing slip and checking for accuracy.

  • Support and adhere to the principles of the American Chemistry Council's Responsible Care®, EPA, and OSHA initiatives by protecting the environment, health, safety, and security of our employees, contractors, carriers, distributors, visitors, customers, and neighbors.

If you have...

  • High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred

  • 5 years of experience in an industrial environment preferred

  • A valid driver's license required for local supplier trips

  • The ability to perform physical tasks such as climbing, bending, and lifting up to 55 pounds.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills, customer service skills

  • Strong safety skills, familiarity with environmental, safety, and health practices
