Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electronics Technician 1 to support one of our clients in Chesapeake in the Water Treatment Operations Group. This individual will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and inspection of utilities electronic/electrical equipment and devices such as digital and analog control systems, wired and wireless telemetry systems, motor control systems, pumps and motor systems, and chemical feed systems. This person will play a pivotal role in maintaining the fresh water supply for the residents of the City of Chesapeake.

Skills and Requirements

-Willingness to learn electrical work, minimal experience needed.

-Good attitude and reliability are key for this team.

-Clean DMV Driving Record (No Reckless or DUI) for the ability to drive city vehicles.

-Team oriented, need to be flexible when other departments need help with manpower.

-Clean Background and Ability to pass drug test (INCLUDING THC) -Electrical experience

-Mechanical experience

-Switches, Relays, Breakers, Instrumentation, Pumps, Motors, or any other related experience. null
