Duties : Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs. Build ultra-low latency, high volume, and reliable next generation platforms. Build cloud native application which can be deployed on prem using PCF or any public cloud. Build applications geared towards ultralow latencies, strong consistency and event driven services. Lead the quality engineering aspects of all trading application flow. Manage the the onshore and offshore teams in various technologies from development, QA, non-prod and prod support. Develop, execute, and maintain automation tests cases and test scenarios for high volume, low latency web and backend applications. Position allows for partial remote work (2-3 times in the office). Must live within reasonable commuting distance.Reports to company office in Austin, TX

Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.

What you have

Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Employer will also accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience in any occupation in which the required experience was gained. Requires related progressive-post bachelor’s experience (5 years w/ Bachelor’s or 3 years/ Master’s), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Building cloud native application which can be deployed on prem using PCF or any public cloud; Distributed technologies, REST services, Web services, design patterns and database principles; Agile and XP software development methodologies and processes; Principal in system analysis, designing an automation framework for various middleware and backend and UI applications using industry standard tools like Parasoft SOA test, Tosca and custom modules; CICS, mainframe jobs, and integrating distributed automated frameworks with mainframe DB2 systems; Service virtualization and mocking; and Distributed applications non-functional aspects like, performance, chaos engineering, Reliability engineering and building monitoring and reporting using Splunk, ITRS, AppDynamics and custom reporting.
